ECCE 2009 will be held in 30 September - 2 October 2009 in Otaniemi in Helsinki metropolitan area, Finland. The conference venue Dipoli Conference Centre is located at the campus of Aalto University (formerly Helsinki University of Technology).

Many of the buildings at the campus, including the University main building, are designed by the renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. The conference site, Otaniemi, is located 7 kilometers from the centre of Helsinki. Otaniemi is easily accessible by public transport. It takes about 15 minutes by bus to Otaniemi from Helsinki city centre. From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport Otaniemi is about half an hour away.

Buses to Helsinki (102 and 103 to Kamppi; 194 and 195 to Elielinaukio) leave from bus stop “Dipoli” (timetable).
Public transport tickets
The Tourist ticket provides unlimited travel for the duration of the ticket: one day (12 €), three days (24 €), or five days (36 €). Tourist tickets are available at ticket vending machines and become valid from the moment of purchase. For travelling to Otaniemi you need a regional ticket that entitles to travel in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa. Every time you board a bus, show the ticket to the driver. If you are planning to stay in Helsinki area for the whole duration of the conference we recommend buying a regional tourist ticket for three or more days.
